Recording Demo! | 2007-11-27
I've spent the last couple days in the recording studio working on my demo! I'm so excited. I had the most awesome time. It was so cool to be in there recording and seeing how everything worked. It was awesome. I can't wait until it's finished =)

Writing My First Song | 2007-09-17
I`m so proud. Today I co-wrote my first song with Mark Lorenz. He was awesome to work with. He read all my little scribblings and we put something together. I am so happy with this song. It will be going on the demo I`m recording very soon. I can`t wait to write more. =)
Management | 2007-09-13
Today was so exciting for me. It was definately a highlight of my career. I signed a management contract with ML Entertainment Inc.
StampedeTalent Search Don Weldon Memorial Award | 2007-07-13
Tonight was AMAZING. It was the semi-finals of the Stampede Talent Search. At the end of the night, I was awarded the Don Weldon Memorial Award for the most promising performer. I feel so honoured that I was recognized for what I absolutely love to do. I was so happy and excited. So many people came and spoke to me afterwards and it was awesome. I can't thank enough the Talent Search Committee for supporting and believing in me.
Emerson Drive | 2007-07-01
Wow. Today was incredible. I had the honour of opening for Emerson Drive at the Airdrie Rodeo. It was so amazing. The whole excitement and atmosphere of being involved was so motivating. It was such a great experience. I was able to meet the band and the guitarist gave me his pick! I shook Brad Mates hand, and was able to be backstage with all of them. It was so cool. I also realized that I want a tour bus like them ;) haha. It was huge! I loved performing there today. I also got to sing anthems for the rodeo this last week as well. Everybody has been so awesome and I'm very proud to be associated with the Airdrie Rodeo.
George Canyon | 2007-06-19
I got to meet George Canyon today. He was so kind and motivating. I got to go backstage and talk with him before his show. It was so cool. He told me I should songwrite, and keep going with my career. He was so extremely encouraging and inspiring, I was so honoured to talk with him.
Calgary Dance Stampede | 2007-03-31
WOW! This was absolutely amazing. It was held at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino in a fancy ballroom. There was all these top dancers from North America. It was incredible to watch. I got to sing a couple songs in front of a packed crowd. I had so many people come up to me and give me such positive comments , I felt so good =)After the event was done, the dance committee asked me up for some pizza and cookies. They were all extremely friendly and kind. I also met a radio manager that invited me out to their station to do some recording and interviews that I`ll be able to put on my website soon=) This was amazing. The dancers are absolutely wonderful. I had so much fun.
Miss Rodeo Canada Fundraiser | 2007-03-30
Tonight was sooo cool. I was the main entertainment for this event. I even got to perform with a band again. This meant alot to me, because Tara , Miss Rodeo Canada, has been so kind and helpful to me throughout the last 3 years I have known her. But the best news about tonight was that I got asked to open for EMERSON DRIVE!!! WOW . This is a dream come true for me. I`m SOOO EXCITED. I was also asked to perform for a 30th anniversary conference coming up in Novemeber. And most of all , I got to see lots of people from the Airdrie Rodeo again. They are all so nice to me.
Mayor's Gala | 2007-01-31
I just sang at the mayor's gala. It was at the Palliser Hotel in this really big, beautiful ballroom. I was really really nervous. I sang a musical theatre piece, which is something new for me. I was able to mingle with the crowd a bit after, and it was nice to hear such positive comments=) It encourages me to keep going. I really do love to perform though=) I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
New Years! | 2007-01-01
I hope you all had a happy christmas, and all the best for the new year=). I`ve had a really good break & I`m very excited to start working on new songs for my spring and summer shows. I would just like to take the time to thank everyone for all the opportunties that have come my way. I truly love to perform and my goals for this year are to become a better guitarist and I really want to try songwriting. For everyone that has helped me along my musical journey, thankyou.
Christmas Around the Calgary Herald | 2006-12-15
I had so much fun today. It was a staff party at the Calgary Herald. I got to move around through all the different departments and sing christmas carols for the employees. I also got to meet the publishers and editors and even got to have a few treats along the way. The building was HUGE! and has sooo many different areas. They have 600 staff working there! and they were all soo nice. It was a great experience today. Something alot different than I'm used to doing ( I didn't even have my guitar!)
RJ Hawkey Benefit Concert- Opening for Mark Lorenz | 2006-11-24
Right after sound check, we got to perform for hundreds of little kids. I did a couple songs with the band and so did Mark. It was SO cute to see them watching us. Afterwards I signed autographs for over half an hour. It was absolutely adorable. I even got lots of hugs=) but the concert tonight was also what I love to do. I sang 9 songs with the band. Ohhh I love performing with the band. They're all so nice, funny, and easy to work with. and also AMAZING musicians, they learned all my stuff the night before! Mark was also awesome. I'm so thankful he invited me out to this event.
CFL Western Semi- Final | 2006-11-05
WOW. Today was absolutely amazing. I got to sing the anthem in front of almost 40 000 people! I was sooooo nervous. The fans were CRAZY. I couldn't even hear myself sing, becuase the riders fans were yelling their own song in the background! haha. It was just an incredible, exciting experience. I had the best time.
October West Dinner Concert | 2006-09-30
Today I got to open for CCMA award nominee Brett Kissel. It was a dinner concert. It was awesome to work with Brett. We did some jamming before and during breaks and he showed me alot of things on guitar. He also told me about this guitar camp I'd love to go to this summer. He was so motivating and inspiring. I've been playing guitar all night.
I also got to meet CORB LUND`S PARENTS. They spent a lot of time talking to me and showing me pictures and talking about Corb and where his career has taken him. They were so nice to me, I really enjoyed them. They kept saying they really liked my voice, which totally made my day=)
Summer Events | 2006-09-01
Wow. I had an absolutely AMAZING summer. I`d really like to thank the Calgary Stampede Talent Search. I made it to the finals this year, as it was my first year competing. They gave me a lot of opportunities to perform. The parades were so much fun, I LOVEEEED travelling and waving and singing for all the people while I was on the float. I also had my first TV and Radio interviews because of the stampede. WOW. I can`t thank them enough.
I`d like to also thank Mr. Dell Faushe for all the chances he gave me this summer to sing with the band Latigo. It was amazing. I could perform with a band everday I loved it so much. It was SO fun and sounded Awesomeeee. I really really loved it.
There is so many people to thank at the Airdrie Pro Rodeo. This is my third year doing anthems for them. And this year I also got to open for Mark Lorenz, at his CD release party. I also opened for JOHNNY REID!!! I can`t believe I got to share the same stage as him! It was Incredible. He was an amazing performer, and was so kind to sign my guitar after=) He was so inspiring.
This is what I really want to do.
